Hey folks- I realize I haven't posted in a while. *cough* At any rate, I'm back in Ottawa, living in Brooks Res with a nice girl named Nadijah. And I'm getting over a cold. *bleck*

Anyway, I'd like to make a request of my friends, especially my female friends. I'm doing a paper on the nature of fan culture for my New Media class... and I'm centering the paper on women in fan culture. Monday: After I got off the train, Adam and I slipped over to the Barrhaven Wizard's Tower where I bought FMA cards. After we got back to his place, Adam and I did not leave the house. I will leave it to your imagination to figure out what we were doing. :P
Tuesday: Too hot to leave house until evening. Went to see X-Men 3. Everyone, go see it, but prepare for a brain melt. And Kelsey Grammer as Beast is AWESOME. :D
Wednesday: Went to Ottawa U where I raided the Magic binders and Adam worked a shift. Then went to Barrhaven, where I won two out of three rounds in a Magic tourney with Rakdos goodness. Badness. Whatever.
Thursday: Train ride home. Did not feel sick. Score.

Horrid holiday weekend. Weather was gross, I had a big fight with my parents, and I've had to deal with scheduling problems at work. Fun.
Met my supervisor, Brennan... she's lovely, and we seem to be very like-minded. I want to do something interesting to the inside of the Gatehouse... but I don't know WHAT yet. Any ideas, folks? A campground gatehouse?

Heyo folks, been babysitting and doing my data entry job.... gahhh, computer induced headaches are fun. So is babysitting when two cats are chasing and playing with every possible item within reach and driving you bonkers.
The cats are cute and cuddly though. *shrugs*
I'm back into playing Nethack, with my usual lack of success. That game is wayyy too bloody hard. I like playing priests because of the healing spells. :)

I'm back home now, though I spent the last week after Adam left with my friend Jo in Kitchener.
I'm doing OK, all things considered. I'm getting lots of work, as the campground is giving me more hours than expected.
I've started playing Magic the Gathering. I kinda splurged on cards in Kitchener. At least when we went to see the potter that Jo and I are so fond of I got some free stuff. No more spending money for S-chan. :/
I just feel kinda sad and lonely is all. I'm not coming back here next summer to live. 'Cause I don't think I can do this again. My steel spine (it's there you know, just gotta dig a bit) will get me through the summer but I'm not putting myself or Adam through this again.
